World Food Day

The 16th October was designated as World Food Day around the globe, and in the spirit of the Nord Anglia Education's 'Share A Dream' initiative, we decided to celebrate the day, and the start of Autumn by thinking about the community around us and developing the concept of social responsibility within our students.

In exchange for dressing in Autumnal colours and costumes, Secondary School students were asked to bring dried food items which were donated to The Society of Blind People in Tashkent.  We were overwhelmed by the generosity of our students and their families and the food was immediately distributed to those families in need so that they could benefit from it as soon as possible.
