F1-F3 have returned to learning with great enthusiasm After the holiday last week, the children in F1-F3 have returned to learning with great enthusiasm.

After the holiday last week, the children in F1-F3 have returned to learning with great enthusiasm.

Following the new daily schedule from the teachers, we have seen higher levels of engagement and participation from everyone with lots of children coming online to talk to their teachers, watching the videos the teachers post and submitting photos via Class Dojo. We hope to see even more participation next week 😊

In F1, the children have been learning new rhymes and patterns and talking about what they eat for breakfast. In F2, they have learned new sounds in phonics and continued the Let’s Get Moving topic, which is perfect exercise for children at home. In F3, the children are learning a new Talk 4 Writing story, Jasper’s Beanstalk, and in maths they have been learning 3D shapes. Make sure to watch the teachers’ videos every day for new learning.

This week the teachers and TAs in EYFS put together a new Learning Box. This contained new resources and activities that parents and children can use at home to help continue their learning. Mr Shanahan really enjoyed seeing the children and their happy smiles when the boxes were delivered to Tay Ho and Times City.  You can still collect Learning Boxes at the EYC next week if you haven’t already.

A highlight of the week for many was when the children came online this week for our afternoon Storytime at 2.15. Be soon to tune in everyday for this relaxing way to end the learning day.

Well done to all of our Early Years learners who have worked so hard at home this week! Check out some of their great work and play in the pictures.
