Learning Support Teacher

MSCi – Natural Sciences – University College London
PhD – Behavioural Neuroscience – University College London
PGCE (SEND Specialism) – Institute of Education, University College London

Liz is originally from the United Kingdom and trained as a scientist before completing her PGCE at the Institute of Education at University College London. This is her first time teaching at an international school, but she has four years’ experience teaching children in a diverse and inclusive setting in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 at a primary school in London. During her time teaching she has coordinated science and ran an environmental committee to help children develop as informed, global citizens. She has a particular interest in how the brain affects behaviour and in providing safe learning environments where all children can achieve their potential. In additional to teaching, Liz enjoys baking, gardening, cycling and exploring new places.
