As a school, we provide numerous opportunities for local service activities and projects which give students the valuable experience of working with a variety of different people and groups within Hanoi.
We have already had some wonderful exchanges and visits with our local community partners and we hope to strengthen our partnership with a number of other organisations in the future. Some of our frequent Community partners include Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, Royal British Legion, Hy Vong School for Disabled Children, School On The Boat and Endangered Primate Rescue Centre.
Students studying for their IB Diploma must complete the Core element of CAS (Creative, Action, Service) where Service activities are about giving something back to the local community. The aim is for students to enhance their personal and interpersonal development by learning through experience and collaboration with others.
Our IB students carry out activities and projects every year within Vietnam, which include building bridges in areas affected by natural disasters; making renovations to schools and houses; teaching at schools in rural areas of Vietnam; working in orphanages and conservation projects.
