Hanh Tien Ngoc Nguyen (Emily) was part of the BIS family for four years, completing her studies in 2018 as Valedictorian of our inaugural International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) cohort. Hanh Tien scored a truly outstanding 44 points from a maximum 45, placing her in the top 1% of students worldwide.
Hanh Tien is currently studying Management (BSc) at the London School of Economics. She continues to apply the knowledge and skills she learnt at BIS to support her growth and in addition to making excellent progress in her studies, Hanh Tien is pursuing her dream of working on Wall Street. She was selected to be one of just 20 members of Goldman Sachs’ prestigious EMEA Female Trader Academy 2019. The programme sees her frequenting their Europe trading floors to learn how financial markets are ‘made’. Having immensely enjoyed the experience, she will return to Goldman Sachs’ trading floor as a junior trader on their Equities desk in the summer of 2020.
“The IBDP is a truly life changing experience and a great asset for your future. It is a rigorous and rewarding journey, but what I absolutely love about the IB is that you graduate a changed and better version of yourself.”
