As with Christmas in the UK and the West, so too Tet. This week has been extremely full with preparations for this important time of year. Staff and children have made such a huge effort to ensure that this year’s Tet Fair was bigger, brighter and more enticing than in any other year, and with both Secondary and Primary Assemblies one week apart, it has been a tremendous launch into this special time of year. Now it the time for families and friends – everyone I have spoken to says that it is unlikely to be much of a rest with travelling to family hometowns and further afield. There will be a lot of cooking, eating, conversation and laughter, as befits this time of year.
It is always a pleasure and a privilege to be a part of this rich culture, and as we part for the break I would like to pay tribute to all the staff for their energy and care for the students, to the students themselves for their engagement in all that has been provided to enrich their lives I school, and to our parents and wider community for their support of our school. Every day, we seek to make magic memories for all. We may not always achieve it but this is our deliberate intention so that all can enjoy the best of experiences.
We wish you all a very safe and happy time together, and look forward very much to welcoming you back on 13th February
