We are all potential leaders at BVIS
Great excitement prevailed in Primary this week, as two of our Year 13 students adopted the positions of Head of Primary and Assistant Head of Primary, as part of our Secondary Leadership program. Please read the passage by Shun, reporting on his experience.
"My name is Le Duc Anh Shun, a Year 13 student from BVIS secondary campus. On November 20th, I grabbed the chance of stepping into Dr. Nici Wood’s shoes, as Head of Primary. It was a very busy, packed day, but was rewarding because I was able to talk to all the children. This opportunity was made possible through the efforts of the BVIS Leadership team and I am very grateful for their support. From when I joined BVIS (6 years ago) until now, this school has raised and nurtured me towards becoming a great student and an amazing leader, with high ambitions. At BVIS, students from all ages are being developed and shaped to become global citizens and future world leaders. In Primary, children hold the responsibility of being members of the School Council, Eco Warriors, Student Ambassadors and House Captains. Through these experiences, students will become more confident in themselves, taking the initiative and making better decisions. They will also become more ambitious, which is the mission of our school and Nord Anglia."
