In History
I have been really impressed with all students this last week:
- Year 7 have been studying Native American way of life and how European settlers affected their lifestyles
- Year 8 have shown great maturity in their study of the Transatlantic slave trade and the conditions faced by the enslaved people
- Year 9 have been looking at African America Civil Rights movement and will all be able to confidently explain why the bus boycott was so successful.
- And finally, iGCSE students have been evaluating the causes of WW2 and how much blame lay with Hitler
In Geography
Year 7 have been learning about North and South America and have been undertaking group projects on different climate zones across these two continents. They will present these in their next week’s lesson developing their presenting skills.
In Year 9, students have been completing work on the Global Campus platform, learning about sustainability and the importance of reducing deforestation. Students have come up with very creative ideas of what we should do across Vietnam and the world, and have enjoyed sharing their ideas with other Nord Anglia Schools.
