Amy graduated from York St John University with a BA (Hons) in Primary Education. Whilst studying at university, Amy spent time teaching in a middle school in China and working at a summer camp in America which sparked her interest in travel and working abroad.
Amy has 6 years teaching experience in mainstream UK Primary schools and has taught pupils across Key Stage 2, Key Stage 1 and Early Years’ Foundation Stage. More recently, Amy gained her SENCO qualification and she has been sharing the role of SENCO. In addition, Amy has also undertaken the role of PE Coordinator, in which she organised sporting events and planned the PE curriculum within her school.
Outside of school, Amy enjoys keeping fit, running and walking her dog. She is particularly excited to explore Vietnam and learn more about its culture.
