Dear Parents,
Term 3 has arrived and I was very happy to welcome back both returning families and new students yesterday. Four of our BIS students who didn’t return to school are currently having an amazing time in Boston, at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). Oliver, Tomohisa, Sun Woo and Cam Tu were selected to represent BIS Hanoi following a STEAM competition held for Year 5 and 6 students. This amazing opportunity for approximately 100 students from our Nord Anglia Education schools is a chance to bond globally whilst taking part in inspiring activities, tours and workshops. I look forward to hearing more about the adventure when the students return on Monday.
Next week, our Under 11 FOBISIA team will be travelling to Phuket to take part in the annual Games. 8 schools will be taking part in the global tournament which enables our students to have healthy competition whilst meeting others from British schools in Asia. Whilst the Primary students are away, many of our Secondary students will be enjoying exciting activities for Book Week.
On a final note, I would like to wish all of our Year 11 and Year 13 students all the very best in their IGCSE and IB exams which started this week.
Ms Sue Hill
Principal
