Andy Groom

Northbridge International School Cambodia - Andy

Grade 4 and 5 Leader, Primary STEAM and Maths Leader

Andy joined Northbridge International School, Cambodia in the 2015/16 academic year. Prior to this he was teaching in New Zealand at Bellevue School in Wellington.

  • Bachelor of Sports and Leisure Studies from the University of Waikato (2000-2002)
  • Graduate Diploma of Education from the University of Victoria, Wellington (2004)

Andy has taught at a variety of schools in New Zealand and Birmingham, UK. The schools he has taught at are the Porirua East School, Gossey Lane Junior & Infant School, St. Bernard’s Primary School, and Bellevue School.

He is married to Bissy and has two wonderful children at Northbridge, Barnaby and Ivy. Outside of his family, he also enjoy sports of any description and have recently become quite interested in running. He completed the Angkor Wat Half Marathon and a full marathon in Europe last year.
