Outstanding Performance in MAP Standardised Testing Léman International School takes the MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) every year in Years 7-11 in autumn and spring. This standardised test is taken by millions of students worldwide, including a large amount of American as well as international schools. The test aligns with the MYP curriculum and international content standards. LL0_9173_1

Our MYP students had outstanding results in Autumn 2021 with high achievement and high growth. Our students achieved their growth targets in all year levels of all tests in Maths, and hit their growth targets in 10 out of the 12 categories. Overall, our students grew by over two-year levels in Maths, the equivalent of two years teaching in other schools in one year at Léman. The Year 11 students grew by over three-year levels in Maths and two-year levels in Reading and Language Usage. Additionally, the MYP students continued to achieve high worldwide by scoring 38 high achieving levels, our highest totals ever! (top 3% worldwide).

The high standards of the IB and Léman International School show that our MYP students are better prepared for different and diverse curriculums, are best equipped for the rigorous DP program, and position our students for success wherever they go. Léman’s students should be congratulated for being ambitious and these results continue to show that Léman teaches faster and further with the international collaborations of Nord Anglia and IB. Congratulations to all!
