We are proud to announce that, according to the provisional statistics from IB-Schools.com (as of May 2025), Léman International School Chengdu ranks37th globally and 4thin the Chinese Mainland in terms of average IB scores. This authoritative ranking is based on the average scores of all students at each school and provides a comprehensive reflection of the school’s overall academic performance. Achieving this ranking once again demonstrates Léman’s outstanding strength in international education.
In the 2024–2025 academic year, our graduates once again achieved outstanding results in the IB examinations: the average score reached an impressive 38 points, well above the global average of 30, with a 100% IB pass rate. Among them, one student achieved the globally recognized perfect score of 45, three students earned 43 points, and 46% of students achieved scores of 40 or above—while globally, only about 8% of candidates reach this level.
Such strong academic performance has also opened the doors to the world’s top universities for Léman students. The Class of 2025 has received offers from prestigious institutions including Imperial College London, University College London, University of Manchester, King’s College London, University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, University of Toronto, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), ESCP Business School and more.
As one of the most influential and widely recognized educational programs worldwide, the IB curriculum is renowned for its comprehensiveness, rigor, and international perspective, and is hailed as the most mature form of internationalized quality education.
