There’s nothing quite like the sound of hundreds of students, teachers, and families cheering on the graduating class as they make their way through the school one last time. Last Friday saw cheers, high-fives, and happy tears filling the hallways as our Year 13 students walked proudly in their cap and gowns, surrounded by the community that has watched them grow.
Later that day, we gathered one last time to honour their incredible journeys at their graduation ceremony. From the moment the graduates entered to the final cap toss, the evening unfolded with much warmth and purpose. Heartfelt speeches and throwback videos offered gentle reminders of their shared growth, friendship, and gratitude.
We send them all our best wishes as they await their final results. Standing on the edge of incredible new adventures at top universities around the globe, they have made us incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished.
The university admissions result for the Class of 2026 at Léman International School Chengdu is incredible highly impressive. 47% of our graduates earned offers from QS World Top 30 or equivalent elite institutions, while 53% secured places at QS Top 50 universities, and three in four of our graduates gained admission to QS Top 100 universities worldwide. Our students have won acceptances spanning the UK, North America, Hong Kong of China and Australia, including world-renowned names such as UCL, LSE, University of Toronto, the University of Hong Kong and the University of Melbourne.
Our art and design applicants also shone brilliantly, collecting coveted offers from globally top-ranked specialist art schools: University of the Arts London (2nd globally for Art & Design), Pratt Institute (5th, with merit scholarships awarded to our students), Glasgow School of Art and University for the Creative Arts. Meanwhile, select liberal arts track graduates earned admission to Franklin & Marshall College, a top 31 U.S. liberal arts institution, highlighting our well-rounded curriculum across academic streams.
