Nord Anglia Education officially opens The British International School, Abu Dhabi, on November 2nd 2009. The school, which opened its doors to children from across the Emirate in September, is the largest international school to open in the World this year.

Nord Anglia Education officially opens The British International School, Abu Dhabi, on November 2nd 2009. The school, which opened its doors to children from across the Emirate in September, is the largest international school to open in the World this year. 

Several VIP guests in Abu Dhabi will be present at the official opening with a high profile visitor from the United Kingdom who will unveil a plaque commemorating the official opening.

On the opening day, the school Principal, Stuart Dennis, will be taking the invited guests around the school. The students will be leading a press conference as part of their work on media and journalism.

Mr Dennis said: “The British International School Abu Dhabi is already making a substantial contribution to the education of children in the UAE. We are proud to be part of the further development and growth of this important city.”
