Nord Anglia Education are excited to welcome Lesley-Ann Wallace to The British International School Abu Dhabi
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Lesley-Ann Wallace to the role of Principal at the British International School Abu Dhabi.
Lesley-Ann has led the primary school at The British International School Shanghai, Puxi since it opened in August 2005. She has extensive experience in primary and secondary education and prior to joining the team in Shanghai she worked in a variety of leadership roles at the Gulf English School and Garden International School Malaysia. Her UK experience was based in the North of England where she took on her first senior leadership role as Raising Attainment Coordinator followed by a Deputy Headship. Whilst working overseas, Lesley-Ann has held a range of key managerial roles including Head of Key Stage One and Two and Numeracy Coordinator.
Lesley-Ann recently became the first Senior Fellow of our Staff College to successfully complete and graduate from the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) programme. Moreover, she is one of the first people in Nord Anglia Education to be promoted from within to a Principal’s position.
