We are delighted to announce the development of a new, state-of-the-art campus for British International School of Houston, expected to open in September 2016.

The new school has been custom-designed to create an inspiring learning environment for students from 3 to 18 years old.

Located in Katy, west Houston, the 33 acre campus is situated on extensive fields at the southwest corner of Franz Road and Westgreen Boulevard, conveniently near the Westgreen exit off I-10. The larger campus will feature world-class teaching spaces, including extensive sports, arts and science facilities, and contemporary technologies to support the delivery of an outstanding educational experience for our students. BISH will relocate to the new campus when it opens and close its current campus at that time.

Andrew Fitzmaurice, CEO of Nord Anglia Education, commented, “We are delighted to announce to the greater Houston community, and to our students, parents, teachers and staff, the construction of a new campus in west Houston. Houston is a fast-growing market, and the new campus will have impressive facilities to support the school in offering an outstanding international education to more students in Houston.”

Founded in 2000, BISH has grown in recent years in response to strong demand from both expatriate and local families desiring an exceptional international education for their children.  BISH will continue to deliver international curricula throughout the school, offering several pathways post-16 including the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. The school has achieved outstanding academic success with the IB Diploma, placing it among the top 10% of the more than 3,000 IB schools worldwide.
