Each team is busy planning, cutting, taping, and building a unique machine out of simple, everyday materials. Then on Saturday, working together with other Nord Anglia students from 13 schools around the world, our students will connect their inventions to make one giant chain reaction machine for the first time—hopefully the biggest that MIT has ever seen.
In between tackling this challenging engineering exercise and participating in our exclusive programme of workshops led by MIT, they’ve also been exploring Boston, attending a Red Sox baseball game at the famous Fenway Park. Even there, science continued to be a central theme as students participated in an exercise to mimic reactions of a bio cell.
