Nord Anglia Education (NAE), the world’s leading premium international schools organisation, today announced that Eton School in Mexico City has joined its global family of schools. Eton School is Nord Anglia’s 70th school worldwide and its second bilingual school in Mexico alongside San Roberto International School in Monterrey.

Eton School is a leading bilingual school founded in 1990, with an impressive reputation for its strong academic performance and nurturing and engaging environment. The school is situated in the central area of Mexico City, which is popular with diplomatic and international business communities.

With over 1,500 students from pre-school to grade 12 being taught English and Spanish, it offers the National and American curriculums, the Middle Years Programme, the IB diploma, and an American High School Certificate with many graduates attending top US, UK and national universities, such as King’s College London, University of California Davis, Purdue University and Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

Nord Anglia’s newest school is also well-equipped with outstanding facilities: the pre-school and toddler campuses are in Lomas de Chapultepec, while the elementary, middle and high school is in Santa Fe.

Andrew Fitzmaurice, Chief Executive Officer of Nord Anglia Education, said:

“We are delighted to welcome our new students, their parents, and our Eton School colleagues to Nord Anglia. We are connected by a shared philosophy wanting the very best for our students through outstanding teaching and learning. Eton School is an impressive school with a strong reputation in the local community and, working together, we are looking forward to building on its many successes.”

Liz Panchuk, Head of School at Eton, said:

“This is an exciting milestone in our school’s history. Becoming part of the global Nord Anglia family will make a huge difference to our students’ lives and the opportunities we create for them. A global mind-set is incredibly important for young people and our students will work and learn together with over 67,000 other Nord Anglia students around the world. The strong fit between Eton School and Nord Anglia will benefit our students, parents, teachers and school community.”

As part of the NAE family, all Eton School students are now able to connect and collaborate globally through Global Campus, Nord Anglia’s technology-enabled learning platform, to bring their learning to life beyond the classroom. Students will also benefit from NAE’s partnerships with world renowned institutions, including MIT, Juilliard, and UNICEF.

Eton School’s 140 teachers now have access to NAE’s world-renowned professional development programme, through Nord Anglia University, summer courses, and the opportunity to join an exclusive Master’s programme in International Education with King’s College London.
