Nord Anglia Education celebrates inspirational teachers in National Teaching Awards 2021

Nord Anglia Education is proud to support the National Teaching Awards and congratulates this year’s Gold and Silver winners who have been selected from thousands of nominations to be named as one of the nation’s most inspirational educators.

Nord Anglia is pleased for the winners of its two sponsored categories – Abigail Chase who was named Teacher of the Year in a Secondary School and Emma Darcy who won the Digital Innovator of the Year award. Both winners stood out for their drive and commitment to learning, and for consistently going the extra mile to change the lives of their students.

The Pearson National Teaching Awards is an annual celebration of excellence in education, founded in 1998 by Lord David Puttnam, Chair of Nord Anglia Education’s Education Advisory Board. The awards are designed to recognise the life-changing impact an inspirational teacher can have on the lives of the young people they work with.

Andrew Fitzmaurice, Chief Executive Officer, Nord Anglia Education, said: “Congratulations to all the Gold and Silver Award winners on their achievements. We're proud to be supporting the Teaching Awards which recognise and celebrate the tremendous contribution teachers make to young peoples' lives."
