Nord Anglia Education students celebrate outstanding IBDP results

Leading international schools group Nord Anglia Education announced today that its students are again celebrating outstanding International Baccalaureate(IB) Diploma Programme results. This year’sresults are well above the world average, with 23.2% of Nord Anglia's IBDP students achieving 40 points or more.

Nord Anglia is one of the world’s largest providers of the IB Diploma Programme, with over 1,600 students sitting the IB Diploma and 42 of its schools offering the programme.

The average IB diploma score for Nord Anglia students was 35.1for the 2021/2022 academic year, far exceeding the global average of 31.9.For the ninth year running, Nord Anglia’s students have exceeded the global average.

This year,athird(33%) of Nord Anglia schools offering the IBDP sawstudents achievea perfect score of 45 out of 45.

Impressive performances across Nord Anglia's schools

Across Nord Anglia’s schools there were manystandout performances. For example:

• In Southeast Asia, Dover Court International School in Singaporeachieved an average score of 39, with 56% of students earning 40+ points.British International School Ho Chi Minh City’s average of 38is particularly impressive given its large cohort of 122 IBDP students.

• In China,Léman International School Chengdusaw an exceptional average score of 38.2, while the British International School Shanghai, Puxihad an average of 38.3, with 52% of students scoring 40 points or more, including one student scoring a perfect 45.

• In Europe, College du Leman’s average score was 36.5, and they also celebrated a top score of 45.Nord Anglia International School Dublin saw over 20% of its inaugural graduating students achieve an IB score above 40 points.

• For the Americas, the British International School of Boston achieved a 38-point average.British International School of Houston had an average of 35, with oneperfect 45 and 20% of students achieving 40 points or more.

• In the Middle East, Nord Anglia International School Dubai achieved an average of 37.5, with a top score of 45 points. Compass International School Doha’s average score was 34.7 with 23% of its students achieving 40 points or more.

• In India, Oakridge International School Bengaluru achieved an average score of 34 points.

Students accepted into the world's top universities

This year’s outstanding results continue to see one in two Nord Anglia students attending the top 100 universities globally.Nord Anglia’s students have secured offers from some of the world’s best universities, includingMassachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), University of Cambridge, Stanford University, University of Oxford, Harvard University, and more.
