Nord Anglia Education students celebrate excellent IGCSE results

Leading international schools organisation Nord Anglia Education has announced its IGCSE results for the 2023/23 academic year, showing another year of excellent results worldwide.

Nord Anglia’s IGCSE student cohort, consisting of 2,656 students across 43 schools, achieved an outstanding set of results with 1 in 2 grades 9-7.

Highlights from this year’s IGCSE results include:

Nord Anglia Education’s global average of 49.7% at 9–7 exceeds the UK’s GCSE average of 21.6%, and the group’s average of 88.3% at grades 4 and above also exceeds the UK average of 67.8%.

Dr Elise Ecoff, Nord Anglia Educaiton’s Chief Education Officer, said: “This year’s IGCSE results are testament to our students’ hard work and resilience, and our teachers’ dedication. On behalf of everyone at Nord Anglia, we’re incredibly proud of our students’ achievements.”

Nord Anglia Education students also achieved remarkable academic results across other curricula in the 2022/2023 year, including an IB average of 33.4 and 71% of A Level grades at A* to B.
