Nord Anglia Education students celebrate excellent IGCSE results

Leading international schools organisation Nord Anglia Education has announced its IGCSE results for the 2023/23 academic year, showing another year of excellent results worldwide.

Nord Anglia’s IGCSE student cohort, consisting of 2,656 students across 43 schools, achieved an outstanding set of results with 1 in 2 grades 9-7.

Highlights from this year’s IGCSE results include:

• Oxford International College’s students receiving the group’s highest results, with 87.4% of grades recorded between 9-7, and 99.58% between 9 and 4.
• 80% of students at the British International School Kuala Lumpur achieving 9–7 grades, and 98.7% at 9–4.
• 70% of British International School, Ho Chi Minh City’s students achieving grades 9–7, with nearly two thirds of Nord Anglia International School Dubai students achieving the highest-grades.
• The British International School of Chicago, South Loop recording 55% of grades at the highest level, whilst 93% were between 9 and 4.
• The British International School Shanghai, Puxi was Nord Anglia’s highest performing school in China, with an average of 58% of grades at the highest level and 90% between 4 and 9.

Nord Anglia Education’s global average of 49.7% at 9–7 exceeds the UK’s GCSE average of 21.6%, and the group’s average of 88.3% at grades 4 and above also exceeds the UK average of 67.8%.
