What if something your child already loves could become part of how they learn?

Now imagine your child working on a project with a team, but with classmates in other Nord Anglia schools around the world. They’re sharing ideas, testing different approaches, and adjusting their thinking as they go.

This is now part of everyday learning at Nord Anglia schools. Because we’re the only international schools group bringing students together globally in this way through Minecraft Education.

It starts with a simple idea

At the heart of this new idea is a creating a shared space where your child can meet, think, and create with their global classmates

For our learners, it’s Minecraft, the game they already know and love.

For you as a parent, you know your child is using technology with purpose, as part of their learning, and having fun!

More than just ‘play’

From the outside, it could just look like experimentation. But behind every session is careful planning. Our teachers guide the experience with clear learning goals, connecting each activity to the curriculum.

Your child is working through structured challenges linked to science, technology, engineering, and design. As they work together, they apply what they already know, test their understanding, and refine their ideas over time.

Our teachers support this throughout, asking questions, guiding discussions, and helping your child connect what they’re doing to what they’re learning.

Where the challenges come from

One of the first challenges your child takes on is called Building Community, developed through our exclusive MIT-NAE STEAM collaboration.

In Minecraft, you can build anything. In this challenge, your child is building items that serve a community with materials they wouldn’t normally expect, encouraging them to think differently about how things can be made.

How this helps your child

In their future, they’ll need to think independently, collaborate with people from different backgrounds, and adapt to new situations.

It’s experiences like our Minecraft Education tie-up that build that confidence early.
