This year, NISC is running a number of Global Campus themed LEAPS. This includes art, the U.N. development goals, and debate club. All these clubs will be using Global Campus activities and ideas to provide stimulating and fun learning experiences.
As a school, we are also participating in a number of competitions. This month, we are partaking in the Global Sports Challenge. Students will be counting the miles they move. From swimming to running, each mile will count. Along the way, they will digitally explore famous sports stadiums. The Global Campus goal is to rack up enough miles to travel around the world once! Will we succeed? Get moving to help us.
Next month, we will take part in the creative writing competition themed around space. More details will be shared closer to the time, but it is a fabulous opportunity. The prize winner will get their book professionally illustrated!
Please take the time to explore Global Campus at home. There are a number of Padlets and activities that do not need to be facilitated by teachers. It's a great learning resource that you all have access to.
