Terry Fox Run for charity
The annual Terry Fox run is just around the corner! We won’t be holding an event at our school this year, however we will be going to the Corniche to participate in the city-wide event.
We would like to encourage anyone who is free to come and join, including students, their families, and staff. This is an incredible event and a great charity and it will be a wonderful way to spend a beautiful, sunny day.

The “run” is going to be held Friday, 27 February at the Corniche.
- Just a quick reminder that it is not a race, nor is it necessary to actually run. It is an inclusive event and everyone from babies to great-grandmothers are encouraged to come out and walk, run or roll their way to an eventual cure for cancer.
- Registration (donations and t-shirt collection) starts at 7am at the Corniche ‘fanzone’ (the area in front of the free beach and Cold Stone Creamery). There will be warm-ups, VIP speakers and refreshment until the event starts. There will be a BIS Abu Dhabi sign to hold up for a meeting point.
- You can pre-purchase t-shirts from Mr. Andrew Hay. The cost is 25 AED for children’s sizes (small-XL) and 30 AED for adult sizes (XS – XXL)
- The run starts at 8am and is 8km in total
