Well January has come… and almost gone, we hope you have all settled back into the school routine smoothly. Here is a quick look at what is coming up and where we, as parents, can contribute and support our community:
Sports Days will be held the week beginning Sunday, 16th February.
Snack shop will operate on:
Monday: 8:00am -12:30pm
Wednesday: 10:00am -2:30pm
Thursday: 10:00am -2:30pm
Parent volunteers would be greatly appreciated, and can be any parents from across the school with time to give. It is always a fun day, chatting to parents and students while cheering on the year groups as they do their sporting best. Please click here to volunteer.
PTA Coffee Morning
The PTA Coffee Morning will be held on Tuesday, 18th of February, with an Emirati theme. It will be an opportunity to learn a little about the meaning behind special clothing, jewellery and traditions, to sample Kawa, to play the name game and have the opportunity to ask questions and share experiences with Emirati mums from our community.
SHU (secondhand uniform) and SHB (second hand books) will be present. Any parents able to help with book set up from 7:30 would be greatly appreciated.
An ADISSA competition will be hosted at our school on Friday, 21st February. This is a one-day sporting event with multiple Abu dhabi schools participating.
The snack shop will be operating on this day, and your support in running the snack shop would be amazing.
International Day will be held on Thursday, 27th February. Thanks to all the parents that already signed up to volunteer. If you haven’t signed up yet, but would like to help, please click here to register.
If you have any unwanted or outgrown uniforms to donate to school, we would appreciate donations being dropped off at main reception and labelled for PTA. The funds are used to go back to the student projects that PTA continue to support. Thank you in advance.
