Our students recognise the importance of our school values and are generous when embracing and representing our values of Kindness, Honesty and Respect with each other and our wider community. On Monday, 9th November, we will be celebrating Kindness Day as a whole school community.
We are raising awareness of the importance of kindness in our everyday lives, whilst highlighting all the wonderful things we do as a school community to help and care for others. Therefore, on this day, all students are invited to wear yellow to school (Parents can also wear yellow as you drop your children off). We ask, that when students dress in their normal clothes, that they consider the culture and traditions of the country in which we live.
The BIS Abu Dhabi Service team will be sharing ways with students on how they can spread kindness within their year group and across the school, whether students are learning online or with us in the classroom. Watch out for further details coming soon to see how students can get involved this year and for news from the day on our social media platforms!
In addition, we are asking our school community to take part in our #bisbekind initiative. Students and families are encouraged to capture acts of kindness that they are involved in, both inside and outside of school, and send the pictures to email@example.com so we can showcase all of them. #BISBeKind
