Safer Internet Day calls upon people to join together to make the Internet a safer and better place for all, and especially for children and young people. The aim of the day is to encourage people to join the movement, to participate, and to make the most of the Internet's potential to bring people together.
With a global, community-led approach, Safer Internet Day encourages everyone to come together and play their part. There are many ways to do this; click on the links below to find out more about practical ways in which you can get involved. Whether you are a young person, a parent or a carer, everyone has a role to play in creating and maintaining a better online world:
"Think Before You Post" Competition
As part of our initiative to create a safer Internet and raise awareness of Safer Internet Day 2021, we are launching a ‘Think Before You Post” poster competition.
This competition is open to all year groups, and we invite our students to create a poster that can be used to promote Internet safety, which will be used by the school in social media posts and future campaigns.
If you would like to enter your poster into the "Think Before You Post" competition, please email Miss Carey with your entry: (Anna.firstname.lastname@example.org). The closing date for the competition is Sunday, 21st Februrary 2021.
