Emmeline Curtis

Year 2 Leader

Ms Curtis has taught in Qatar and Dubai before moving to Abu Dhabi in 2017.

After completing my PGCE in 2010, I worked in the UK teaching Year 3 and 4 for 3 years. I then decided to move to the Middle East and it was the best decision I ever made! I worked in Year 1 in both Qatar and Dubai before making the move to Abu Dhabi. I decided to join British International School Abu Dhabi because it has a real international ethos that teaches children to be responsible global citizens.

I have always loved exploring new places and have been lucky enough to travel to many different countries and experience various cultures. I hope to visit as much of the world as I can and share my experiences with the children that I teach. I also love to explore the cities that I am living in and enjoy everything that Abu Dhabi has to offer.

I am an enthusiastic reader and can spend many hours lost in a good book. I also enjoy keeping active by swimming, walking or cycling.
