I graduated from the University of Cumbria in 2010, where I qualified with a BA Hons in Primary Teaching and Physical Education. Since then I have taught in London and Kuala Lumpur.
I made the decision to work at BIS Abu Dhabi as the school values are closely linked to my own. In my class I ensure all students succeed through providing exciting learning opportunities, being ambitious and striving to be the best they can be.
I always knew I wanted to teach abroad and that led me to my first international post in Kuala Lumpur. Over the last 9 years, I have taught children from all over the world.
Besides teaching, I love to stay active and in my free time, I enjoy playing sports, diving and travelling, as well as eating food from around the world! After living in South East Asia for 4 years I have travelled to some amazing countries and seen some of the most beautiful places.
Other hobbies I have include netball and football. I have been playing in the KL Women’s Netball League for the last few years and have been involved in coaching football teams across the Primary and Secondary school.
BIS Abu Dhabi is different to all others I have worked at because the children have amazing opportunities through the Global Campus to explore the world and learn new skills as part of their schooling. I am enjoying BIS’s friendly community and teaching highly ambitious children from all over the world.
