I graduated from the University of Brighton in 2015 with a First Class BA Hons in Primary Education. As well as being an experienced KS2 teacher, I have sought opportunities to expand my teaching responsibilities beyond the classroom. These roles have included; Year Group Lead, KS2 Lead in the English Development Team, Geography/ History Subject Lead, Mentor to Newly Qualified Teachers and Teacher Representative for the Student School Council.
With a passion for travel and exploring new cultures, I have always anticipated combining this with my love of teaching. The British International School Abu Dhabi represented the perfect place for me to begin my international career.
Growing up in Sussex provided me with an absolute love for being outside; with the South Downs on my doorstep I discovered a real passion for walking and exploring nature. Keeping active is important to me- yoga, bouldering, running and swimming are amongst my favourite ways in which to do this! I always try to make the most of my free time- going to the theatre, watching live comedy, cooking and exploring new locations. However, one of my most avid passions is (and always has been) reading- I can spend hours lost within the pages of a good book!
