I have always had a passion for history and received by BA in History from Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2007. After completing my PGCE at the UCL Institute of Education, I worked at a school in North London for three years. During this time I had a great deal of success with a range of examination classes in History, Sociology and Religious Studies.
In 2015 I moved into Initital Teacher Education, leading the History School Direct course until 2018. I have published four books and have written for the BBC and in June 2018 I was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the Historical Association.
In my spare time I enjoy playing football and cycling. I also like to write about a range of topics including history and politics.
