I graduated from City University, London in 2008 with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Maths with Finance and Economics. Post-graduation, I started my career in retail head offices but soon found my way drawn to the classroom as a teaching assistant in 2011. The enjoyment factor and pleasure I found from both working with young people and being able to teach and impart maths knowledge soon led me to pursue a teaching qualification at the same school where I qualified to teach via the GTP route in 2013. I have now been working in education for over 9 years successfully teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5 classes across three London state schools in the UK. During my career, I have also held various middle-leadership roles including Head of Year to KS4, Senior Data Manager, and more recently as Second in Charge of Mathematics.
When I am not teaching I enjoy cooking, travelling, reading, and catching up with friends and family. Growing up I enjoyed playing football and played for my university football team as well as local leagues in my area so hope to find a local league in the UAE too.
