Colette Puchalski

Drama Teacher and House Coordinator (Secondary)

Mrs. Puchalski graduated with a B.A. Hons degree in Drama and English Literature at De Montfort University in the UK.

I started my career within the Performing Art Industry as a professional dancer and choreographer for ten years, before embarking on a career in teaching Drama and Dance in the United Kingdom. I gained teaching associates with the Imperial Society of Teacher of Dance in Advanced Ballet, Modern, Tap and International Dance as well as gaining LAMDA Gold in Acting. I graduated with a B.A. Hons degree in Drama and English Literature at De Montfort University in the UK.

I have led many Performing Art departments as Faculty Leader within the UK, before starting a new journey in the International setting of the Nord Anglia family at NAS Dubai. I loved the UAE so much that I decided to return to start the post of Drama Teacher at BIS Abu Dhabi where I continue to learn and experience many cultures and theatre traditions.  I am so excited to be here and to be working within the Nord Anglia family and look forward to this exciting creative journey.

I have always loved the theatre and performing, I also love to try new things so have most recently started to learn the piano. Mostly I love to have fun exploring new destinations and going for long hikes with my family, who consist of two daughters who are at university, and a husband who is happy to follow.
