Dear Parents and Students
This week marks three important events in the NAISAK story. The launch of our newly created guiding statements coincides with our inaugural International Day Fair on Sunday and having our biggest Qatari National Day celebrations to date on Wednesday. In addition to this, I also had the pleasure of sharing the statements with NAISAK staff at our school’s 6th birthday party on Friday. At the heart of our philosophy is the importance we place on our partnership between our caring and diverse international community and our setting in Al Khor.
To celebrate the collaboration, we made a video, which highlights some of the community’s input into the process. Please click here to watch the video. I would like to thank all of the students, parents and staff that made important contributions to the creation of our statements. A special note of gratitude needs to be extended to our Director of Sport and Communications, Ms Libby Tremere, who has played a leading role in all aspects of the launch of our statements, including working closely with the PTFA to organise a fantastic International Fair.
The NAISAK guiding statements that include our vision and mission statements along with our core values in the form of the ‘High 5’ are as follows:
Vision:
Be challenged and inspired today, challenge and inspire tomorrow.
Mission
At NAISAK, we are a global community that instils ambition through world-class partnerships and collaborations. Respect, responsibility and hard work are actively encouraged and celebrated by our internationally trained and caring teachers. We bring the best of the world to Al Khor.
NAISAK Core Values: ‘High 5’
Show respect, work hard, aim high, be nice and accept responsibility.
