Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Students

Although it has been a short term, it has been full of many wonderful events that have taken place in addition to the purposeful and engaging teaching and learning that has occurred both in and out of classrooms on a daily basis.

Our Parent Teacher Friends’ Association (PTFA) has been very active as well. They organised an incredibly successful PTFA BBQ, which required a lot of hard work behind the scenes. I’m delighted to report that the PTFA have agreed to formalise their structure and have agreed on a Chairperson, Dr Subbiah Sivakumar, Secretary, Mrs Renu Singh and a Treasurer, Mrs Habiba Qureshy. I wish to congratulate and thank the PTFA on behalf of the NAISAK community who continue to work tirelessly to support our school.

From liaising with our Student Council, they have supported or are currently arranging for a number of improvements to our campus including:

  • Investing in shading for a new parent waiting area at the school entrance
  • Funding a rock garden project led by Year 3 students on the old red court
  • Funding for sports equipment and games for use during Primary break times
  • Providing refreshments for students during this week’s sports days
