The Museum of Islamic Art organised an art competition, “Irsim”, which took place from 20 September to 15 December 2016. This competition was open to both private and independent schools. Primary School students from our school participated and their artwork was submitted to the museum for it to be judged. The students could draw parts of the museum building or any chosen object in its collection.

1499 artworks were submitted by a total of 65 schools. We are proud that four students from our school won as part of the top fifty winning drawings.

Students attended an award ceremony held at the Museum of Islamic Art. Mr Salem Abdulla Al Mari from the museum congratulated our students and presented them with their award. Students’ artwork was given away for display in hospitals and other social institutions around Doha.

Congratulations to our winning students: Tanvi Pawar (5I), Essa Al Kuwari (5I). Abinav Pentakota 5A and Siti Mutia Zahra (6I).
