The event was a delight: a buffet lunch was provided with musical performances, speeches, and award presentations. Awards were presented to the students by Ms Margaret Tongue, Deputy Head of Mission, British Embassy and Ben Schmidt, Regional Director of Cambridge International South-East Asia. Our Year 12 student Mimie was presented with awards for achieving Top in Thailand in IGCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and Top in the World in IGCSE Development Studies.
These are incredible achievements, and the school is very proud of Mimie's success. Well done, Mimie!
St Andrews International School Bangkok's International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP) and BTEC students recently completed a week of work experience in various companies in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and as far as in Penang, Malaysia. This unique, exciting opportunity allowed the students to step out of their comfort zones and gain direct feedback from a professional environment in the real world.
Are you a new student at St Andrews International School Bangkok looking to dip your toes into the world of swimming? Or perhaps you are a current student who has always wanted to improve your skills in the pool? Then there is no better time than now to join the STA Marlins Swimming Squad. The Marlins Recreational Group is our latest swimming programme, welcoming all beginners on Tuesdays after school.
At the end of each academic year at St Andrews International School Bangkok, our teachers and staff collect unused stationery items across classrooms and departments. These materials, including pencils, glue, scissors, books, and even clothes, are donated to the Baan Nokkamin Foundation, which supports underprivileged children in the suburbs of Bangkok. This initiative reflects our commitment to sustainability by minimising waste and promoting a culture of kindness and social responsibility.
