This week I am in London for the NAE Recruitment Fair where I shall be meeting a large number of applicants for the different roles we have on offer, and hopefully filling many of our positions. Our current teaching staff have informed the school of their intentions for the next academic year, and it is really gratifying to see we will have a low turnover this year. Our attention is primarily on filling the new positions in High School, allowing us to develop an even broader variety of courses across the school. We have already advertised in the UK Guardian website as well as on our own website recruitment page and have begun reviewing potential applications for these essential staff.
NAE Parent Survey
Thank you to those parents who have already completed the NAE parents survey. This is a series of questions covering a range of areas over which the school operates. It gives parents an excellent opportunity to provide feedback on how the school is meeting expectations and developing. A simple multiple-choice set of questions is presented, along with the opportunity to write longer comments where you feel necessary. This information is then summarized for the school, and many important decisions result from the responses parents share as members of the school community. Please ensure that you seize this chance to offer your say. At the moment our response rate is very low compared to other years standing at around 40% of our families filling it in. Please make the 10 minutes available to complete the survey so we can have feedback that really represents the majority of our parents from across the school. This survey will close on 31st January.
