What is a scholarship?
Scholarships are a form of finance used to support students with their education. The funds from scholarships can go a long way in supporting your child’s education. The funds can help cover tuition, books, accommodation and other educational costs at university/college. Scholarship programmes are more common in the US and Americas as tuition costs are higher, and there is more need to support students and families with finance.
How the finance is provided depends on the scholarship. Sometimes it’s a one-off deposit at the beginning of the term or a renewable termly payment. It really depends on the scholarship, so researching the important details is key.
