Higher-Education Scholarships

A scholarship is a payment or grant made to support a student's education. This can be awarded for academic performance or achievements outside of the classroom.

What is a scholarship?

Scholarships are a form of finance used to support students with their education. The funds from scholarships can go a long way in supporting your child’s education. The funds can help cover tuition, books, accommodation and other educational costs at university/college. Scholarship programmes are more common in the US and Americas as tuition costs are higher, and there is more need to support students and families with finance.

How the finance is provided depends on the scholarship. Sometimes it’s a one-off deposit at the beginning of the term or a renewable termly payment. It really depends on the scholarship, so researching the important details is key.

How we support your child?

At St Andrews, if your child wants to pursue a scholarship, we will support them fully, whether this is with important documentation (Letters of Recommendation, References), advice (university workshops, fairs, 1 to 1 counselling), interview practice and application support. We understand that the market is saturated with extreme demand for Scholarships. If your child wants to stand out from the crowd, we are here to help!
