What is our Virtual School Experience?

Harnessing the vast expertise of our internationally trained teachers who are committed to nurturing and inspiring every child they care for, our Virtual School Experience will ensure your child’s learning is continuous – from home, on campus and beyond the classroom.

Our Foundation Stage virtual school is designed to captivate and grow our youngest minds with personalised interactive teaching and exploratory activities. Our smallest ones take part in real-time lessons that capture their attention and imagination, and have fun with activities online and off-screen.

What can you expect? 

A team of committed classroom and specialist teachers will deliver personalised lessons designed to keep your child engaged with the teacher and motivated to learn more with their classmates, as well as foster their independence and confidence. Our online environment creates strong relationships in the classroom between teachers and students to make moving between off-screen and online activities seamless. Our Foundation Stage (ages 2 - 5) virtual lessons include: 

• Daily classes with teachers and specialists

• Regular live Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education

• Learning through play

• Regular group wellbeing sessions

• Daily morning check-ins

• SPLAT (Stay, Play, Learn All Together) Grid with activities designed to develop essential skills

• Storytime

• Specialist sessions to nurture curiosity and creativity, including drama, art, music and PE activities

• EAL (English as an additional language) small group sessions

• Extra-Curricular Activities enhance the core curriculum, and provide opportunities for students to broaden their interests and perspectives of the world.

Our teachers closely support our parents, to make it easy to know what their child should be learning and how by providing:

• Regular progress updates on their child’s development and achievements

• Webinars to explain how to get the most out of virtual learning

• Workshops to support our families with young ones

• Regular contact with the teacher

• Provision reviews

• Weekly lists of regular household items to support learning

• Access to reading programmes and online platforms that can be used outside classroom time
