After finishing my education in the UK and looking for a change I moved to Western Australia where I ran a construction firm for 5 years. In 2011 I moved back to the UK and worked developing historical buildings in the Lake District where I met my wife Laura. In my spare time I enjoy a range of outdoor activities including climbing, fishing & cycling. My wife an I love to travel which is how we came to be in Thailand.
One Laura's childhood friends was working in Thailand and when she told us a job was available at St Andrews International School Bangkok we jumped at the opportunity for a chance to live and work here. I had studied Occupational Safety & Health for Construction and I was fortunate enough to be offered a role in the Estates Department and further my career in health and safety. I have worked here for since April 2015 and have always enjoyed the complexities of working in the Estates Team, planning events and competitions, contributing towards improving the school's facilities and providing a safe learning environment for the school community.
I really enjoy the community feel the school has and the positive energy which radiates from the staff who I am lucky enough to work with. St Andrews International School Bangkok is a great place to work and I hope to contribute towards the success and achievements of our students into the future.
