I was born in Portugal and graduated from the Fine Arts Faculty of the University of Porto with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art Sculpture and a Post Graduate Degree in Multimedia Art. I continued my studies with the University of Nottingham having completed my PGCE and a Master of Arts in Education. Before joining St Andrews International School Bangkok in 2018, I taught art in public and private schools in Portugal, and in international schools in Shanghai and Macau. As a practicing artist I have been professionally involved in artistic projects in different countries, as well as community art programmes.
I am passionate about art and am dedicated to encouraging students to discover and express their own individuality through art. I enjoy developing my own artistic practice in my spare time and will never pass up an opportunity to learn something new, especially if it involves music, travelling and nature.
St Andrews International School Bangkok offers a wide range of learning opportunities in all areas - academics, arts, sports and technology - and across different ability levels. There is a strong sense of community, everyone feels supported.
