I have been working as a teacher for over 25 years. Prior to becoming a teacher I worked professionally as an actor and director, including various stints as a clown. After training to be a teacher, I worked in the UK and overseas teaching children at all ages from Year 1 to Year 6, though I particularly enjoy working with Year 1 aged children. I have lived and worked in Bangkok for over 20 years!
I happily live in Bangkok and enjoy travelling and trekking. At home I love to cook and take care of my two dogs.
Many students think I am funny. I think my most impressive skill is reading stories to a class.
St Andrews International School Bangkok really takes into account that children are complex dynamic beings, and that a well rounded education must first address their sense of self and happiness. Space and time is provided to allow the children opportunities to grow as humane, caring young people and not primarily as empty vessels to be filled.
