I have a First Class Hons degree in Business and Economics and I have had a 20 year career in Business and Finance. My professional roles include: Retail Bank Manager, Corporate Business Bank Manager, Finance Manager and Commercial Manager. During this period in industry, I also became a qualified accountant and completed a HND in Managing Business and Finance. I have always been passionate about learning and I decided to qualify to teach in 2016. After completing my PGCE and QTS, I had been teaching Economics and Mathematics in the UK when the opportunity arose to join St Andrews International School in Bangkok. I bring a wealth of professional experience to my role of Teacher of Economics and Business at St Andrews which compliments, and undoubtedly benefits the students development and learning.
Outside of school, i have two main passions in football and Aikido. Father Time has caught up with me in terms of playing football but I still regularly practice Aikido and travel worldwide to take part in international events. When the weather allows, I like to escape on my motorbike, or spend time with my family at the beach or by the pool.
What sets St Andrews apart from other schools is the sense of community and inclusion with everyone aiming to achieve excellence.
