I graduated university with a BSc. (Hons.) Biomedical Science and MSc. Molecular Biology and worked for a number of years managing clinical trials for pharmaceutical companies before taking a gap year to travel in Asia. I decided to extend my stay in Asia by teaching English and quickly discovered teaching to be a highly rewarding profession, I returned to the UK to complete a PGCE and have been teaching Chemistry since 2011. In my spare time I enjoy a variety of sports and hobbies including martial arts, scuba diving, cycling, trekking and cooking. I really enjoy life in Thailand, particularly the food and the opportunity for weekend getaways to lush mountains and pristine beaches. It has been a pleasure to join the St Andrews International School Bangkok community, the staff are very supportive and caring and the students enthusiastic. I particularly value the inclusive learning environment were students of all abilities are encouraged and supported to achieve their potential.
