As for my education, I have a PhD in Materials Chemistry from Durham University and a post-doctorate from the University of Oxford. Besides that, I have done a PGCE and then worked in various international schools in Europe, Latin America and the Middle east. I have broad experience in teaching A-Level and IB Chemistry, IGCSE and KS3 Science. I am incredibly interested in travelling and learning about new cultures and languages.
I am fluent in French, English and Spanish and have intermediate level Portuguese. I also enjoy playing the violin, reading about history and politics, watching international movies, practising yoga, meditation, and dancing salsa. Students find me knowledgeable. I help them understand and appreciate Chemistry with a new perspective. They also say that I am very approachable and supportive. They feel confident to talk to me regarding any matter. This is my first time working in Asia.
I am very excited and curious to learn about a new culture and customs to understand and adapt to the local mentality, whether professional or personal.
