I studied at the University of Glasgow gaining a BSc (Hons) in Zoology and a Secondary PGCE (Biology with Science). Before coming to Thailand I taught in England, the Channel Islands, Scotland and Kazakhstan. I am currently studying part-time for an MA in Education (Leadership and Management) distance-learning with the University of Bath.
Over the years I have been involved in various elements of school life. For example, as an officer with the student cadet force; from a musical perspective with staff and students; and as Head of House. At St Andrews International School Bangkok I am a Model United Nations advisor and, more recently, Head of Year. I am half Trinidadian and half Scottish and was born in Brunei. My interests surround my two children and (when there is time for myself) some yoga and (more recently) exploring the benefits of Muay Thai. I feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to work at St Andrews and experience the wonders and delights of Thailand.
St Andrews International School Bangkok's 'open-access' is an aspect of education I firmly believe in and promote. There are not many international schools who offer this or do it as successfully as we do.
