I have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and fell in love with Thailand and teaching when I first came to work here in 2009 (Hat Yai and Nakhon Si Thammarat). After three years of teaching I returned to the UK to complete my PGCE teacher training. I then taught Physics at three UK schools and an international school in Switzerland before returning to Thailand in 2014. I worked at Bromsgrove International School for two years before making the move to St Andrews where I teach both Physics and Technolgy.
I have many interests outside the classroom, including playing guitar and piano and making music. I like to stay active, and enjoy cycling at weekends in the countryside around Bangkok, or up around Khao Yai. In the long holidays I like exploring new countries in SE Asia by bicycle or trekking on foot.
The happy, friendly community atmosphere at St Andrews International School Bangkok has really impressed me since joining the school. There is so much to inspire students inside and outside the classrooms, and the dedication of the staff who work here makes this a great place to be.
