Having graduated from the University of Wales, Cardiff, with an Education BA (Hons) degree in 2001, I initially worked for the British Government as a Systems Development Officer. In 2008, I decided it was time to take up teaching and came to Thailand to pursue that calling. Since my time here, I have worked for a number of international schools across various classes in Key Stage 2. I am enthusiastic about books and writing, and have held a literacy coordinator post in my previous school as well as an enrichment coordinator's role, promoting ways to extend and challenge gifted children throughout the school. I joined St Andrews International School Bangkok in 2018.
I spend my free time enjoying family life with my wife and child. We love to travel around Thailand as well as other countries mainly in Asia. I am particularly interested in health and exercise, spending any personal free-time running and swimming. To relax, I enjoy composing my own music and reading fiction and non-fiction.
St Andrews International School Bangkok is different to all other schools I have worked at because it is so inclusive and multicultural. I believe that this makes for a diverse school, embracing all. In this way, St Andrews is unique and full of character.
